A Beautiful New Chapter for Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort

For more than 18 years, Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort has welcomed guests, families, golfers, friends and visitors from near and far; creating memories and becoming a treasured part of Akwa Ibom’s hospitality story. Now, it is time to give this much-loved resort a little care, attention and renewal.

From 31 August 2026, the hotel will temporarily close its doors as we begin an exciting period of renovation and transformation designed to refresh its spaces, elevate the guest experience and prepare the resort for many more years of exceptional Akwa Ibom hospitality

This is an investment in the future of one of our State’s most important hospitality landmarks, creating a stronger resort, better guest experiences, new opportunities for our people and another compelling reason to visit Akwa Ibom.

As part of this exciting new chapter, Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort is also entering a new era of management under Aleph Hospitality, Dubai. Their international hospitality expertise will help guide the resort through its transformation and support our ambition to deliver an even stronger, warmer and more memorable guest experience when the hotel reopens.

  • THE GOLF CONTINUES

Throughout the renovation period, the golf course and Golf Clubhouse will remain open and available to golfers and visitors. Guests travelling to Akwa Ibom for golf will also have access to other excellent accommodation options within the State.

For guests with existing hotel reservations from 31 August onwards, our team will be reaching out to assist with alternative accommodation arrangements within Akwa Ibom, should you wish us to do so.
